Abstract:
DIRECTIVE 2010/75/EU is well recognized worldwide. In this article, the comparative study between DIRECTIVE 2010/75/EU and Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Thermal Power Plants(GB13223-2011) are conducted from the aspects of appliable objects, unit capacity, fuel types, standard condition and oxygen content benchmark, pollutant items, emission limits and minimum desulfurization efficiency. The study finds that SO2, NOx, dust and CO are included in the EU pollutants control items, whereas mercury emission control is not mentioned; the classification of fuel and unit types in DIRECTIVE 2010/75/EU is more specific than that in GB13223-2011; the minimum desulfurization efficiency is mandatory in EU, but not in China; in regarding the common pollutants control items, the emission limits are comparable between EU and China, and some limits are even more stringent in China.
