Abstract: Starting from the necessity of ensuring the generation capacity adequacy of the power system, this paper studies the system and mechanism to ensure the reliable generation capacity of the power system, and puts forward the design method of the capacity market mechanism to adapt to the environment of China's power market, which is conducive to the construction of the capacity market mechanism coupled with the current mechanism, and ensure the sufficient generation capacity of the system and the long-term stable operation of the system.
