Abstract:
Presently, the coal consumption of coal-fired power generation industry accounts for 50% of the total energy consumption in the country, which makes it the major root of air pollutants. In order to achieve the goal of near-zero emission for coal-fired power plants and alleviate environmental pollution, in this paper, the necessity of emission reduction and the concept of near-zero emission are introduced. In particular, regarding the characteristics of Shenhua coal, such as low ash, low sulfur, low nitrogen and low mercury contents, the study on coordinated dust removal, efficient desulphurization and low-NOx combustion integrated with SCR denitration is conducted, which formulates the technical route for near-zero emission of coal-fired power plants supplied with Shenhua coal. All the applications demonstrate that this technical route is of great significance for near-zero air pollutant emissions from coal-fired power plants.
